Brevard CARES was recognized by the Child Abuse Prevention Task Force of Brevard for its child abuse prevention efforts with the presentation of the Social Service Award for Group or Team Field Work at the task force’s 15th annual Child Abuse Prevention Awards Banquet on April 14 at the Hilton Rialto Place, in Melbourne.

The Florida Department of Children & Families ACCESS Application Center located at 705 Blake Avenue, Bldg E, Room ES8 in Cocoa will relocate to Byrd Plaza, 801 Dixon Blvd, Suite 1103 in Cocoa. The current Center will close at 3 p.m. on January 5, 2010, and the new Center will be open for business on January 7, 2010.
